I need major help! My nephew is 2 1/2 and has out grown his carseat by his weight bc the harness only goes to 40 pounds. I need a good carseat that goes to at least 50 pounds. It can't be expensive though! My brother does not have alot of money! Please help!

I have no clue, not an expert on carseats, you might want to check out one of the carseat group here on CM.

What price limit are you working with?

I will show him this one. I saw a True Fit one for a 100 but when I went to add it to my online cart it said not available even though it says in stock. So I didn't understand :(

Since he is forward facing, I would recommend  this seat over the true fit, because at 65 lbs. it turns to a booster, so it will be the last seat he ever has to buy.

I just bought my almost 3 year old the Nautilis and it is wonderful.  Very much worth the money since it goes to 100 lbs.  This should be the last car seat we'd have to buy for this child.  Otherwise, I don't know of any that go that high weight-wise other than the Britax, but they are usually more expensive.

I hear good things about the Gaco Nautilus. I would just go to the store and look around. If you can, bring him with you and have him try them out himself.

The truefit is on sale at Babies R Us for $99.99 right now.  It harnesses to 65lbs.  You will NOT find a better price, especially not on such a fantastic seat.

All of these prices are online-some may be different in store. These are the cheapest ones that harness longer.

The Graco Nautilus-harnesses to 65lbs then boosters to 100lbs

Apex 65- can be found as cheap as $85 at biglots. Here is walmarts price. This seat HAS to have a vehicle headrest behind it. Harnesses to 65lbs then boosters to 100lbs.:

Evenflo Generations 65-harnesses to 65lbs then boosters to 100lbs.

The Nautilus is by far the best seat out of these 3. These seats would keep him harnessed until he is ready for a booster.
