So I have a 3 year old and a newborn who will not sleep in his crib? Why is that and any advice on what I should do that does not make me feel like a bad mother and not bringing him into the bed, Right now I am seriously holding him on the couch! Help

There are basically only two choices in your situation. One: you can hold him until he falls alseep, then put him in his crib, or 2: put him in his crib and tell him you love him, then walk away and let him cry it out until he falls asleep. Good luck!

I'd just be patient.  If he's a newborn, you may just have to hold him and adjust to him rather than expect him to adjust to you quite yet.

My babies didn't sleep in their cribs until 6 months or so . . .

He's way too young to cry-it-out, in my opinion.

Good luck!  (Also, you might want to join the Babies group.)

try laying him down in the crib and rubbing his back for few minutes and see if that settles him.
