Given our current money situation.....Valentine's Day is not that far away. Do you think a card and cooking his favorite meal will be enough?

And then my birthday is March 2nd, dd & nephew March 21st and our 1st wedding anniversary is March 29th. I really hope he gets a job or unemployment soon.

I believe that it's more about spending time with each other then about what you spend. DH b-day is Dec. 21, Krismas, Our Anniversary Jan.4, Alex's B-day Jan.21, Aubry B-day Feb.2.

It is all back to back, we don't go all out for any of it, we have a party for the kids but it isn't large and we don't do anything expensive. It's about the love, not the gifts.

said. An Atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into
death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated."

That is what we do for birthdays and special occasions.... A simple card (dollar tree has some great ones for 50 cents) and a nice dinner or baking a cake for the other person.
