diapy rash

My dd has what looks like a mild diaper rash but she screams whenever I try to change her pull up. Desitin seems to hurt her and baby powder only helps a little. Tonite I am going to give her a bath and let her air dry but other than that I don't have any ideas on how to help her without the desitin or powder. Can you ladies help me out at all??

Oatmeal bath? Aveeno? Coconut Oil? Baby Powder with Corn Starch?

GOOD LUCK!

My son always hated Desitin so i started using that Boudourx's Butt paste and i swear by it! it clears it up in no time and he didn't scream like he would when i would try to apply the dessitin

Put some baking soda in the bath and then when you take him out make sure the diaper area is completely dry.  At this point I usually put cornstarch then some sort of cream on ( i usually use coconut oil but I'm sure diaper rash cream would help.)

Or you could take some flour and brown it on the stove then put it on the rash after the bath.
