My only suggestion would be to charge her by the hour not by the day.

I charge by the day. and when my son went to daycare i was charged daily.    i get $20 a day per kid.    and that is what i had to pay when i took my son to daycare.

i babysit for 8 hours a day.  i would suggest around 20-25 a day.     or do 20 for the 8 hour days and 25 for the 12 hour days???

I would do $20 for the 8 hour days, and $25 for the 12 hour days. What is the going rate in your area?

Where I live the going rate is $1.50-$2/ hour per child. That's probably a little on the low side for most areas though.

In my city, care for an infant is between $200 and 250 or more a week and it doesn't matter how many hours the infant is there. Some of those centers include all food (formula, cereal, etc) and some don't. I would charge $100 a week. You could also call around and see what different centers are charging for the amount of hours you would have the child and go from there.

when my kids were in in-home daycare, i paid $80/week full time.  she supplied almost everything.  but she didn't claim it on her taxes so i couldn't get the child care credit either.
