So tomorrow is DD's 100th day of school and in honor of that, shes supposed to dress like a 100 year old.  So far I've got:

1 hair in a bun with powder to make it white

2 pearl necklaces

3 reading glasses w/ the lenses poped out

Any creative mommas have some more ideas for me? ... shes 6 btw.  What do "old people" wear?  I worked in a nursing home for a while and all I can think of is a diaper and false teeth.

Here she is :

We wanted to do the white tights but it was just too cold this morning :(

j/k, I googled 100 year old and that popped up.

An out-of-style dress like I used to have to wear to sunday school? I don't know, that's tough!

Does she have white tights and white tennis shoes? that would be like support hose and support shoes LOL.

LMAO that is scary!!

she has some dress up clothes that I got a goodwill that clearly came from the 80's ... maybe I can put one of those dresses on over her regular clothes.

Ratty cardigan/shawl, tights or better yet - "knee highs" that are falling down.

Big old clunker black shoes...

Peace,

Kat

Cardigans!  My grandma loves cardigans.  And really high polyester pants.

hose that is falling down one leg. (if wearing a longer skirt.) and a sweater would be recommended.

Remember some centarians (100 + yo) are still very active so you dont have to go all decrepit looking.  Maybe some fake wrinkles and white hair..  Slacks and a shirt w/ cardigan on top.
