Does anyone know what I can use to get vomit out of my couch??   My daughter threw up last night and I tried carpet cleaner but it didn't work.  I can't leave my house so is there any household products I could try??  The streets are covered with snow and both my hubby and dd are sick so I can't leave!!

Please HELP!!

I would try a steam cleaner, with whatever carpet/upholstery cleaning fluid it comes with.

Peace,

The vinegar idea is what I would suggest. If I remember correctly, our upholstery came with cleaning directions that said make sudsy water with dish detergent and just use the suds on the spot and blot up right away.

Is the fabric white? or coloured? use a small amt. of Shout in a non-noticable area and wipe from the inside  to out..I usually rub the fabric against itself as a mild friction.Don't dry it in a dryer if fabric is removable(like a cushion)You may have to have it professionally cleaned.Baking Soda as a paste may help also.If you know the manufactor contact them via email for suggestions.Sorry that's all I can think of.Hope it comes out well for you situation. deb aka debado62
