Is a late period a sign of pregnancy?

i know that a missed period is a clear that you are with child but i am a week late and was wondering if that could be a sign that i am with child?

Yup! The day of my period when i didnt start i took a test and it came out positive.

ummm yes....that COULD mean you're pregnant. That doesn't mean though everytime you're late you're pregnant. It could be a numnber of things. But i would just take a test to see.
