I'm totally lost on this potty training thing! How do you start? And I work out of the home so I can't stay home with her for weeks to do this!

Im a SAHM so it was a breeze for my son . He is 3 and has been fully potty trained day and nite since he was 2 1/2 ! Where does she stay while ur at work ? Maybe you can put a pull up on her and have them take her to potty every hr no matter what . Idk im not sure cause i didnt use pullups unless we went shopping . Its going to be a task how old is she?

I mean I guess i get it at home but how do i make sure they do it at day care. I have a lady watch her. She is really busy she does a lot of running around so i guess that's why she keeps telling me to wait. :-/

I don't potty train.  I have a potty for him, I tell him what it's for.  If I think he needs to use it, I ask him (he usually says no).  My personal method is that when he's ready, he'll tell me and I won't have to "train" him.

First of all, make sure that you are getting her on a routine.  Place her on the potty every hour to see if she goes.  Make sure who ever is watching her through out the day is also doing this, this will get her used to the potty.  You could also try treats, once she goes potty, give her anything from a fruit snack to a sticker or you could take her to the store to pick out special soap and a towel that she can use after she goes potty to get her excited.  It's all about routine at first and once she learns that it's okay to use the potty, she will eventually tell you on her own.  It's hard work but I used to do this at a daycare and without consistancy, she probably won't get far.  Good luck!

Im not really sure what u should do like someone else said maybe you can not push it and show her what it is and maybe you can do what u have to  do at home and pray it helps her . I can see it would be very hard for you !

I would ask the daycare lady if she would be able to help you w/ this.  A lot of daycares start at like 3 and some get upset if you want them to do it, so I would be nice about it so she doesn't feel like you are demanding it.

OMG I'm right there with you. Only I took a nose dive into it, and now I'm lost.
