I am a HUGE fan of nursing to the age of two, as many global health companies and organizations recommend. However, my my DH while knowing the benefits, is not keen on teh idea...I also think that has to do with no one else feeding the baby.
Th enext chil din this house will be breastfed through a bottle- you know, pumped. Once we move on to a sippy, the breastmilk will be in that as well, until the age of two.
It is a decision I feel very strongly about. This way it is convenient, I don't ALWAYS have to be there, my dh is comfortable and needed, and th ebaby still gets all the benefits. :)
Not a fan of brestfeeding. I dont judge people who do or dont. Its their choice but this movie will make no difference in my decision.
Um, I think that we're getting to a point where it's pretty obvious what the best thing to do is. And most agree that while there are LITERAL cases of BF issues, (chazznroccos mom) the ones who make the choice for nothing other than it's the NORM to FF, (me with my first) or that they don't WANT to, well, it's a bummer.
I really want to watch this!
There needs to be a lot more education on the benefits of breastfeeding and the risks associated with artificial feeding. I can't believe a lot of the ignorance I read on here, and it's really sad that the biological norm is now something that most moms aren't familiar with. A lot of the common "issues" are just that, common issues. No reason to stop, and are totally normal. If more people were aware, there would be a lot more success.
I am a Canadian, breastfeeding (it IS best, there is nothing even close to that nutrition and bond), co sleeping, extended rear facing (if you don't rear face to the maximum of your seat, you're NOT doing all you can to protect your child), baby wearing, Non spanking (I want my kids to respect me, not fear me) ANTI- CIO, homemade baby food making, cloth diapering, organic (chemical free household!) recycling mama to TWO and one on the way! My husband is my equal and best friend, not my master and I believe basic health care should be a human RIGHT, not a privilege.
I had never heard of that before now... it looks really interesting
