He will fit fine in a 5 point harness, why would you consider putting him in a booster?

The basic minimum is 4 and 40 lbs... but that is not safe. There are seats out that harness to 65 or more lbs... personally, I want my daughter Rf/Harnessed as long as possible.

What kind of seat is it? The limit is probably 40 lbs, most are.

We have a graco nautilus in our second car, it harnesses to 65, then boosters to 100. The Britax frontier harnesses to 80 then boosters to 100. Those aren't the only two out, but they're the most recommended.

I know my son say 30 to 100 pds with the back on and height 57in , age was 3 and up.

And i know i gonna be bashed but yes my son is 3 and he know how to sit in it perfectly. We do use a 5-pt harness for long trips 9when he may fall asleep). but for eveyday it a boster i have a small car so it fit alot better.

Whether or not it fits properly, he's not ready for it. He's just too small... no 4 year old is ready for an adult seat belt.

That seat is probably only a harness to 40 lbs. I need to see a pic of the seat if you don't know what it is.
