for a 1 1/2 month old baby to start laughing?

I don't think they can laugh at that age. I think all they can do is smile. I don't know for sure though. It's been a while since my daughter was that age.

I'm sure it's POSSIBLE.... not likely, but having a 2 year old who's starting to READ, I'm pretty sure anything is possible.

I think it is possible. Smiling and laughing could start around 6 weeks. I haven't been around many little babies, but I think it could happen.

I don't think it is impossible but not likely.  I've seen a video of a 2 month old saying "I love you" to her parents soooo.... there you are.

I think so every baby advances at different rates my 2nd daughter started laughing at 9-11 months

it sounded like she had tried...she was smiling at me and she made a sound from her throat that sounded like a laugh so i was wondering...
