I CAN'T SING!!!!

A while back I was working with some warm, cuddly babies.  I loved to hold them and sing to them!

One day the supervisor of the special needs care facility where I was working drifted by me and in a teasing voice (that he used quite often with me) he said, "Why do you continue to sing to these babies?  You know they can't hear you or see you."

I said to him, "Maybe that's true, BUT" (with a big B) "they can feel my love!!"

He just shook his head like usual and smiled as he walked away.

When he was almost to the door I called out to him, "You've heard me sing right?"

          "Yes," he said, puzzled.

"Well then, who else do you think would let me sing?"

So--if you're one of us that can't carry a tune, just keep cuddling and holding your child, and singing to your heart's content.  They will feel the love come shining through!!!

Lol...I know it isn't the point, but what is wrong with the babies that they can't see or hear?

Dear Faeriebrat:

My husband can actually sing really well, and that is why it took me a while to get permission to sing to our babies!  He doesn't want me to mess up their musical ears!

But, singing on...

Dear myfoursons--

Thanks for the interest.  The babies I was working with cannot see or hear because they are blind and deaf.  But much loved by me!  I gave them Smackaroonies (this means a very large, wet kiss!) every day and they loved it.  And they were also OK with my singing!

Dear Bonnie:

I don't know what a Bump! means, but I hope it's good!  I'm new to this, can you tell??

"BUMP" is pushing your thread (or post) to the top of the forum so that others notice it first. :-)
