Milk

How long is milk good for at room temp. My son is drinking whole milk now and sometimes he wont drink it all and just sits it down and than comes back to it and drinks a lil more. And i know i should put it in the fridge but just how long can i leave it out before putting in the fridge?

I just read that it can be okay at 79 degrees for 4-6 hours. . . 

I dont trust milk after an hour. . .

At room temperature of 60 degrees F milk will stay safe for 24 hours. 

At room temperature of 66-72 degrees F milk will stay safe for 10 hours.

At room temperature of 79 degrees F milk will stay safe for 4-6 hours.

wow thanks that helped. yeah usually i dont let it go more than 3hrs and i always keep our house temp at 74 F. But was just curious Thanks

Wow I didnt know this. I always thre milk out if it was left out after 2 hours.

LOL i always put the milk back in fridge if she didnt drink it all after an hour.  Good to know those limits.
