My son attends daycare and has recently started hitting, pushing, scratching - just basic mean-ness - other kids (some are younger and others are the same age.)  I am not sure how to deter this behavior.  We have moved 2 times in the last year but try to get him in a stable daycare environment right away....HELP!!  Does anyone have any advice for me to get him to stop being mean??  We have tried bribery and talking to him (once he his picked up from daycare) and neither are working...

I wouldn't bribe. I'm assuming he know better. He knows not to hit, that it's against the rules. He breaks the rules, he should be punnished. Take stuff away, time out, spanking, whatever you use as punishment for other times rules get broke.

Have them send home a progress report and do his punishments accordingly. Taking away fav toys with bad behavior and giving them back with good!
