Is it worth a test, or am I just freaking out?

I had my mirena taken out just over a week ago and have had unprotected sex a few times since then.  I have that pregnant feeling now (achy lower back, heavy feeling in lower belly, odd crampy feeling with no bleeding).  Is it even possible to get that feeling within a week or is my body just freaking out from having the mirena removed?  Also, are dollar tree tests worth it, or should I get a more expensive "early detection" one one?  I'm driving myself crazy!!!  I feel so stupid even asing about this.

Not sure about the mirena/body freaking out part. But the cheap tests work great, just as well as the expensive ones. Good luck!!!

I would wait it out and see what happens. It could be from getting the mirena removed.. Either way, keep us updated. :)

And if it'll put your mind at ease, you'll only be out a dollar. It can't hurt anything to pee on the stick :-)

I have known many people that used the dollar tree one and they have never been wrong. So go buy a couple to ease your mind. Do you know when your period is due? They say you can test up to 5 days before. Also it could be your body adjusting to have the thing taking out

my Besty had the mirena and had some crampy discomfort feelings for a few weeks, she did get pregger right away though, like 3 weeks later or so, i would say it seems a little early but you never know :)
