cleaning question

We are trying to turn our basement into a toy room. we want to clean the floor but its cement and we have no idea how to do that. anyone have any ideas? thanks

If you go to a hardware store such as lowes or home depot they have a cleaning solution you can get although i don't remember what it's called (it's been a while since i had to use it) but if you just ask an associate they'll more than likely be able to point u in the right direction. Also, are u thinking of carpeting it? If not i would get an area rug or something to put over it because concrete can be a pain in the butt to keep clean, unless you like to sweep daily :) GL!

Thanks ill have to go look for it. im not sure if we r carpeting it yet but we might get a area rug

You can seal the concrete; its easier to keep, imo.

Use clorox or bleach! (: its not goin 2ruin the cement, but you might want 2wear a mask.

I'd just lay carpet down, if you're making it into a play room. If you leave the concrete it will be colder down there than if you laid down carpet.
