need help w/ a medicine ? asap!

Can u give Motrin and Benedryl together/within a few hrs of eachother? I gave my 6 1/2 mt old DD motrin 2 hrs ago to help w/ her temp. and earache, but benedryl is only thing that helps her severely runny nose, and coughing but can they be given together?!

Have the pedi approved giving her benedryl?

They can be taken about 3 hours apart from each other.  But I didn't think you could give a baby benedryl.

From what I am reading you should never give an infant under 1 year of age benedryl or anything else with a sedative.

Actually Benedryl and Motrin can be given at the same time. They aren't even remotely similar medications. One (motrin) is an NSAID and the other (Benedryl) is an antihystamine.

Yeah, they can be given together. Even in the same syringe if you want to.
