Does anyone know of a way I can keep my dogs off my porch? I am tired of tripping over them, and I know so is dh and kids. I don't mind them in front of the house but not on my doorstep

Is there anyway to put them in back of the house?  Dogs like to lay around, pets like steps.

You could let them come inside! Seems like they want to!

Is it the only covered area?

Just because the dogs hover at a door or on a porch doesnt mean they want in...well not all dogs anyways

This is a curious post to me.  Most dog posts are about how to get a dog to quit chewing or digging or running off.  Here you have perfectly good, homebody hounds and you're not liking that.  LOL.

yes, tried it and it did NOT work at all!  waste of money! and thats coming from a mommy to a hound dog.

^^was a hot day last July
All we did was took the sides from his old metal crate and bungied them to the railings....but after a while he realized that the gate was there for good and when we took the bungie cords down he never noticed or just doesn't care because if the gate is there he doesn't try to get down the stairs.

^^old pic, ds was 18mos
