My cousin is only 20 years old (same age as me) and she also has a little boy who is 2 months older than my dd (he is 9 months) she is NOT married and technically a single mom BUT she is engaged and they r suppose 2 go to the courthouse soon to get married..

ANYWAYS (on to my point)

can she get government assistance.. she works as a waitress like 2 days a week!

What are her living arrangements? do they live together? with family? a lot dependson the state too. is the fiance working?

at the very least she likely qualifies for WIC.

My happiness is me, not you.
Not only because you may be temporary,
But also because you want me to be
What I am not.

i have never had gov't assist...so this is a guess....but my guess is anyone who makes under a certain income a year can qualify for gov't assist.

Probably....but once married they need the husbands income counted for too. Not sure what assistance you are talking about- food stamps, cash assistance, or Medicaid? Why does she only work two nights?

Yes it goes by income and if she makes less than the cut off amount she is OK to receive it.
