Ok so we have rented out a house for a little over two years. Our land lords are so sweet to us and take care of everything in a quick amount of time and when things break they take Money off our rent. But things have been going way down hill!!! First thing that happened was my SO's tire got slashed. Never found out who did it. Then our land lords decide they want to sell the house. They tell us once it is sold we will have to move within a certain amount of time... So for about a month ppl have been coming in our home to look at it to see if they want to buy it. We don't feel comfortable with ppm looking in our house when we are not there so we always have to cancel plans to be home for ppl to come in. One time the ppl didn't even show up and boy was I pissed! A couple put in an offer and it got accepted. A day before the inspection was to be done they backed out because they couldn't get a loan. This was all after we found a place to move by august 1st. (my parents until we get our own place)

Then she decides that she is going to rent out the upstairs after all. (it's a two family house)

Also there is water damage on my daughters wall and they have been repairing it for about a month now. All her stuff is shoved to one side and she is not sleepIbg in there.

I just feel so put out of this house I hate it! :(

Then someone hit and ran my SOs car last week. The police said we could make a report but what's the point. We are pretty sure we know who did it but we can't prove it. Then this morning,,, my SO was leaving for work and he came and woke me up asking if I got into my glove box last night. Uhhh no why?? All my stuff was scattered all over the car. My back door is broke and won't lock. So someone broke into my car??!!! Ughhh!!! Nothing that we know of is missing.

So here is my question. Would you ask your landlord if you can just go ahead and move out sooner than the 1st of august or would u wait it out and take the risk of something worse happening?

It couldn't hurt to ask, right?  Its not the fault of the landlord that your car is being broken into so if that is the reason you give, you may not catch a break with July's rent.  You may still be held liable.  I hope you find a nice place.

Thank you. It's just one of the many reasons.

Oh and I forgot to add that the land lords lawn mower for stolen about three weeks ago also.

Do you feel safe? So you feel it would be safe for your baby? Then move.

I just feel like if the person has the guts to steal our lawn mower and to break into my car what will they do next?

So I called my dad and we are gonna go ahead and stick with moving on august first. But I'm gonna start going through all of our things and pack done stuff and maybe have a yard sale. That should keep be busy until then.
