Quick question with cooking pork chops in the oven?

Do I cover the top of the pan with the foil or do I place the pork chops on top of the foil (placed in bottom of pan) & then scrunch foil over them?

When I cook pork chops in the oven, I cook them in a baking dish with some type of homemade marinade and I cover the dish with foil. This keeps the pork chops from drying out.
