I get easily bothered / affected by things such as someone's death. I understand, we all love Whitney but as something negative that happenes, my mind triggers more negative feelings and I feel like more negative things are about to happen/.The same happened a month ago when a politician died.I taught his daughter 15 years ago but that was all the contact I had with them.it is not like a family member or relative passed.

or if a co worker does not respond to an email I send, I feel that there is something hidden going on.

If a friend loses his/ her job, I feel that I am about to lose mine.

it is just crazy that I get to feel like this

I was prescribed antidepressants when my son was born last summer but I didnt take thrm as I wanted my post partum depression to go on its own and it did.

The feelings that I described existed before the post partum depression

maybe I need anxiety medication?

I know your respondes will not be like the resposne from a doc..but what do you think?

thanx

Who prescribed the meds? Do you see a counselor or therapist at all?

my psychiatrist prescribed Celexa or citalophram. I took it in the past 2008 and it worked but my hair was fallling

Now with PPD, she prescribed the same but I really wamted to get over it without meds

I think I did get over the PPD.

As I said, the feelings I described above were there even before the PPD
