3 year old is sick

My oldest daughter has severe allergies and takes bendryl to control them. The past few mornings she woke up with a runny nose, this morning she woke up and puked. It was clear but kind of slimy. Since then shes thrown up several times. Nothing solid just that clear milky crap. No fever, not lethargic acts just fine then suddenly throws up. Idk what to do for her. My youngest had her one year check today and I asked our doctor what.she thought and.she.said it was probably just drainage from her nose that made her sick. Does that sound right? Any tips on what to do for her?

Sounds like it was just snot from her nose. Me and my daughter both get this way when our allergies get to be more than the meds can handle, which happens a couple times a year. Is she on a day time med?

My daughter's doctor has her on benadryl at night, and had her on clariton every morning, but recently switched her to zyrtec every morning. Taking both the morning med and the night med really helped.

No they haven't placed her on daytime meds because usually her symptoms only start at sundown. I was and still am the same way. she has her 3 year check up in about two weeks and I will address the issue when we see her again. She has thrown up probably 5 times but it is a very small amount and its only mucous like.

Yeah, I'd say it was probably just from the drainage.  Maybe try getting her something to eat first thing when she wakes up to help settle her stomach.  I would ask the doc about giving her zyrtec instead.  My 2 1/2 year old has terrible eczema and her doc suggested zyrtec.  Although my dd takes it for a totally different problem we have found that it works a lot better than benadryl.

Yup sounds like hayfever to me.  I have had many instances of just throwing up mucus due to drainage.  Growing up i even missed school due to it.  There was never a fever, just an icky feeling and the drainage which made me sick. Depending on which allergies she has, a raw honey that is from your area could help with the allergies.  Have her drink lots of clear soups or tea to help her cough it up before it gets to the vomiting point.

She took a very long nap (for her) from 1135 to 300 and when she woke up she was 100% better. She hasn't thrown up since so I think it was just allergies. Thank you ladies for replying
