Can anyone tell me some steps for rebuilding your credit score? My credits shot to hell so im trying to find ways to rebuild it as im paying off my debt. Will financing a car help? What about my sprint bill? Any help greatly needed.

Start with credit cards but have them set your limit to like $300. That way you don't get into trouble. And anything you put on it pay it right off. That will help. If you have bad credit your chances of getting a car loan are slim to none. Good luck.

Our started getting better without realizing it lol.

We have two small credit  cards- that we pay the regular bill every month. I think I actually USE the cards- once a year lol. But with the interest the balance stays up there. Anyway I keep a balance on it, and I've heard that paying it off all at once defeats the purpose. I think they like to see you consistently making payments. So I make the minimum every month.

We also have car and house loans, and pay them religiously and that's how it worked for us.  :)

I think you'd be surpirsed at who will give you one lol. I was. Mine was shit.

I started with a Sears mastercard and a Credit One. All you can do is try.

I don't know. I'm in the same situation u are except I don't have a credit score. No one has ever approved me for any kind of credit...ever...well not loans. I have one medical bill on my credit report that is for a $40 bill that my insurance didn't pay...I actually just found that out, I also have an outstanding power bill on my report that is for $80. That's all I have on my credit. What sucks is I did get Verizon with contract hoping it would help my credit...but apparently they don't report when u have made payments....only when u don't pay the bill! I have been told I need to get a prepaid credit card, that that will help my credit but we can't afford to pay x amount of money up front for the credit card then make payments on it. So I'm 28 yrs old with no credit and no way to get any!

I have tried getting a Walmart and a target credit card and was denied. When I get the paper in the mail explaining why I was declined the paper always says due to insufficient credit history. :(

All those inquiries will actually HURT your credit score...my credit wad terrible. I couldn't get a card. I just had to continue paying stuff off. When I was almost debt free, capital one sent me a preapproval letter in the mail so I just completed the app and got the card! I'm using it to help raise my credit by only using it for gas and paying it off immediately. NEVER have your balance at more than 30% at a time and pay right away. Try to keep it below 10% if you can.

Here is what we (dh and I) did.  My parents have primo credit, they each added us to their cc acct as an authorized user.  Our scores within 3 months were thru the roof and we were able to buy our 1st house within months.  We didn't USE their cards of course, never even had access to them, but just adding us to their accts, shot our scores to the top.  We had tried for almost 10 years to get our scores up, we didn't have BAD credit, we just paid cash for everything, so we never established much.  This was our best way and it worked.  So if you have someone that could do that for you it would help you score tremendously.  I would stay away from store cc's they have SUPER High interest rates!  Good luck.

Just keep paying on your current debt. The more you pay off the better you wil be. Don't get more debt just to try to raise your score. That is rediculous. If you already have debt, why add more? Just keep paying your debt, when one gets paid off, apply that monthly payment to the usual payment of your next debt. It is called debt stacking and we have been doing it for about a year now. My credit score was 777, 698, and 697 last month. DO NOT add debt to help your credit score, worst thing you can do.
