quick question!! help??

my son 18 months, drinks whole milk, but we ran out, and i dont have a car to go get some. my sister has some soy milk in the fridge would that be ok to give him until i can get some regular? he doesnt have any known allergies....

I see no problem with that for a one time thing. Just watch for an allergic reaction if it's the first time he's having soy.

Sure it should be fine, but why does he need milk at all. Just give him water.

Exactly. He should only drink 16-24 ounces of milk a day.....If he drinks more you risk anemia and other issues.

It should be fine. Just watch for an allergic reaction. My son is allergic and gets sick to his stomach any time he has any type.

My dd is 18 mo. Old too and she has drank it fine but I agree that he doesnt have to have milk at all if your unsure

I doubt he will drink it.  It has a different consistancy than cow milk.  He more than likely will NOT have a reaction to it and all will be fine.  But he really need maybe 2-3 cups of milk a day and the rest water.  :)
