I had a baby 6 months ago and got my tubes tied. After that my period was somewhat irregular and super heavy so my dr put me on loestrin. I started taking it and 5 days after I got off my period I started bleeding again and it lasted 11 days. Now its been over a month since that happened and I still haven't gotten another period. This has never happened to me. Any ideas?

I'd call your doc and let them know what you're experiencing but your hormones are probably still a little wacky and trying to regulate themselves. It wouldn't hurt to let the doc know what's going on though.

I agree, talk it over with your gyn and make sure all is well.

Are you breastfeeding. I would say that your hormones are a bit wacky and it needs time to get back on track. But if you are really concerned I would call your doc for sure.

I'm not he's on formula. I don't have a Dr anymore because we moved if it comes to it id find one here and pay cash. I stopped the BC when I bled that bad. It was worse than normal. If I hadn't gotten my tubes tied I would have thought it was another miscarriage

If you are not on any hormones, then your periods can be irregular.

most likely the hormones, but I'd call your doc just to be sure.

I could be wrong, but I think it's *possible* to have a tubal pregnancy even when you've gotten your tubes tied.

It is still possible to be pregnant. Even a tubal is not 100% effective. You should see a doctor just to rule it out

Hmmm what did your doctor who tied the tubes say about it? I have not heard of this

Probably hormones. My bf had her tubes tied over 5 years ago when she had her 3rd baby. she is still complaining about it screwing up her hormones, her cycle pms etc. have you tried some hormone stabalizing herbs? black cohosh is marketed for menopause but will also help to regulate your periods. take it like bc pills 21 days on 7 days off. it isn't very expensive and is natural? worth a shot. I take it just bc my hormones have always been out of wack. but remember it is alot like the bc pill and if you skip it for a couple days mid cycle you will start your period.

Better call your doctor and ask how common this is.
