car seat advice

Well its tax time and we want to get DD a new car seat. She is only a month but we had to use her brothers old carrier for now. So we have to go 3 cat seats wide and want one for less than $200 or Max is $250. She is 20.5 inches long and 8lbs all torso no joke. I'd like the seat to last as long as possible. I've looked at the frontier85 the Radian and the true fit. I like the true fit best but I'm afraid it wont fit 3 across. Any ideas or does anyone know where to find one on sale for a good price thanks.

The frontier is a ff seat only...the myride is a good seat, and I believe the true fit is also good for infants

You can't use the Frontier 85 as its a FF only seat and minimum 2 years 25 pounds

My DD is all torso too.  what I did was use the My Ride until she height ed out and then got her the Frontier 85 which has the absolute highest harness height( torso) of any seat made and is a IIHS best bet belt positioning booster 3 years in a row.  No seat can touch the frontier but you have a ways to go before it can be used with your child :)

What do you drive?
How old/big are the other kids?
What seats are you currently using?

OK DS is 2 and 27lbs and is currently in a scenera that he is about to outgrow and expires in December. And my other DS is 6 and 45lbs in a evenflo hbb but this seat is worn out and will likely be replaced with another hbb not sure which one yet. I was thinking a maestro for DS and a true fit for DD if it will fit with a hbb for my other ds
