Hi ladies, I really need to know any techniques that you may have or ideas. I am a stay-home-mom and and online student too, and everytime I start to do shcool work my kids ( 2yo and 1yo) start to bother me and I cant really concentrate I need to finish by april. My son who is 2 he have some learning disabilities he cant talk, so he in constatnly trying to get my attention all the time he just dont leave me alone, he is constantly poking me and demanding me to do something! Im going crazy. He cries and yell almost all day.  He want everything right away and thats not possible, he needs to learn to calm down and that he is NOT my father. And Im trying to finish school and I just cant concentrate, we dont have any neighbors or any friends near that we can visit or that they can visit home, we are military family so you know our family isnt with us. So how can I be a good mom/home maker/student without unattending any of them??

Do you have anyone who can help you? A family member?

1 mom liked this
I was in a very similar situation until I graduated last summer. Stay at home mom w/a 4yr old & VERY needy 1yr old. I was an online student and My dh Wouldn't get home until after 8pm.
I had to teach myself to work very fast & efficiently.
I did my work when they napped and when they went to bed at night.

Some suggestions would be to get up before your kids and try to get some work done.
Or When your dh/so is home let him take care of the kids while u go to Starbucks or somewhere with wifi and get some work done.

It's the hardest thing but u can do it!!!

I have a very difficult time with online classes b/c my son (4 1/2) can NOT leave me alone.  I've had much more success with traditional courses.  I hope someone has better advice.

No, we are Military Family and we just moved to Guam, and we dont have that kind of friends that are practicly your family, everybody here mind their own business and only know their needs. Besides my husband I dont have anyone.

Do school work when they sleep. Have your DH take over child care when he gets home so you can do your assignments. It's not easy, I'm a SAHM and college student too. I started before DD was in school and it just takes lots of organization and time management.

Do they nap? if so, do homework during nap time.

When I had online classes I had to work during nap and after they went to sleep. Otherwise get a babysitter to help out for a few hours a week.
