My three year olds breate smells like poop. im talking like bad! i brush her teeth with floride toothpaste and it still stinks! it just started yesterday. i havnt seen her poop so it is possible she is constipated ( she has issues with constipation ) but she said and daycare said she has poops a little at daycare. im called her dr in the am but i was just wondering if anyone expereinced this or what it could be.
Or, does she drink enough water? Not enough water can lead to excessive bacterial growth.
Or, does she eat enough grains and fruit. A diet too high in protein can result in bad breath.
Kinda fishy smelling??? My dd once stuffed newspaper up her nose and it started to smell fishy like that. The paper was pushed so high up that I could not see it. Basically they told me when something is up there it kinda ferments and an infection can start and you get a bad smell. I had to go 3 places to get it removed because the emergency room is the only place to have a hose with a little ball sucker to get it out.
