Would you be upset if you found out that while at a sleepover your 9 year old daughter showered (totally naked) with 2 other girls while the mom went in and out of the bathroom.

ETA: It's at her best friends house and she just met the other girl.  The kids would be picked up at 10am.

Normally when my daughter sleeps over at a friends house or girls sleepover here, they don't shower since they are going home mid-late morning.

That would make me feel very uncomfortable.

Maybe if they all had bathing suits on.

I wouldn't think anything of it. Whenever I had sleepovers as a kid, it was a normal thing for a few to shower together. Imagine if there are a few kids there, it saves time and water to just toss them all in together than to have that many kids take seperate showers.

I would be very uncomfortable with that. It might be ok if we were extremely close with the family and the kids basically grew up together, but otherwise no.

To old to shower together imo. I just that's old enough to set personal boundaries. My dd is 8 and I would just explain why I think it's inappropriate

It is normal to be curious about each other's bodies, but I sure as hell wouldn't want my kid running around naked at a friend's house. I would be pissed.

The neighbor girl kept pushing my daughter to shower with her. I told her thats fine, but I get to supervise. She quickly changed her tune. I don't trust that girl though, she is always trying to get the neighbor boys to pull their pants down. There is curiosity, and then curiosity goes too far.

I showered with friends as a kid. We weren't very modest.

That would make me extremely angry. But maybe it's because I was a victim of sexual abuse. When a young girl thinks that's okay, it would make it very easy for someone to take advantage of her. If one of the girls is older and knows more and decides to experiment, it could end up being very emotionally damaging. I was 9 years old when my sexual abuse took place and it was another kid would was just curious, but I went through hell when I was older over it and had to get couseling. It was awful.

If it is only one night there is no reason to be showering. They should have showered that morning or before going. It also not okay at thatage for the mom to be going in and out. At that age they aremore then able to shower with out an adult.
