It's the last day of the Financial Fixer-Upper Challenge! We hope you've enjoyed the journey!

Now that your 10 days of focusing on your finances is up, it's time to make sure all your financial ducks are in order. Your activity for today is: Do a Financial Tune-up.

This Financial Tuneup checklist from the New York Times is a great way to get started. Use this simple, printable 31-day guide to help you figure out what financial moves to make. Suggestions include:

  • Start saving an extra 1% of your paycheck
  • Find a lower-interest credit card
  • Consider renter's insurance or read your home insurance policy

Start saving 1% but that will hadve to wait until August when I come back to work. I only have 21 days of work left.

We have renter's insurance & a low interest credit (that is almost paid off).  We could work on saving more money from the paycheck.

I already have low interest cc's
No paycheck but I am saving what we don't use from his unemployment.
Living with my Mom until I get a job which I am hoping is soon.
