I'm not sure of the environment you'll be in doing a sleep study, but if he'll be away from family perhaps you could bring photos of those that would comfort him. (ie siblings, grandparents, friends, etc.) Good luck!

Why a ds for a sleep study? Shouldn't the mind be quiet? all I'd add is snacks

Music/Radio, Books/Magazines, Coloring things, cars/toys, pillow........I'm not sure what all you will be given.........if there is a tv/dvd player then some movies.

I would check with the Dr about movies and video games, might overstimulate him and throw the study off, but if those are okay then the game will be fun.

Id stop at the library and bring a new stack of books to read while he falls asleep.
