how much do you want to spend?
i had a valco baby ($700+)
BOBS are great strollers too ($500+)
Summit XC are ok ($400+)
you want one with actual tires, a swivel to a locked wheel
I love our Baby Trend jogging stroller - does not work well on sand though, lol.

Mine was about $200 and all I can say is- as long as it has a swivel front wheel/ with option to lock- and a good visor, you're golden.
Maybe removable wheels too, for the trunk.
We've had ours 4 years, STILL love and use it, mostly for trips where there's lots of walking. Ie, six flags.
My kids are 3 and 5.

We also have a baby trend and love it. Haven't been on sand with it but did go hiking on dirt trails and it was pretty smooth
