What makes you think she has it. Did the doctors mention it or did you match symptoms online?

His developmental pedi is looking into the likelyhood of him having it and is referring him to someone who will actually know about it. He doesn't know much about it. Just that my sons billiruben levels were high enough to cause it.

I had elevated billirubin that led to encephalopathy in 2010. What is his billi now? What other neuro signs? Did they check his ammonia levels? Any fluid retention? Was his liver function normal?

This is caused by elevated billiruben when he was a newborn. He has several autism like symptoms but its not autism. His levels shot up to the mid to high 20s at 3-4 days old and didn't drop down to 16 until he was 1 week old.
