My daughter will be 6 months on the 15th. All of a sudden she starts crying really really hard, she throws her hands up in the air and won't open her eyes for nothing. I try to rock her or say her name tell her open her eyes everything is okay. Try to give her a bottle or her pacifier, that doesn't work either. So after about 5-7 mins of crying she finally open her eyes and take her pacifier and go back to sleep. I don't kno what's bothering her or what's causing this to happen (usually once a week but only at night)....... :(

It sounds like night tremors. My oldest had issues with that and it lasted for about 4-6 weeks. His ped. told me to leave on a noise machine like the white noise or the sounds of the womb. Or something playing soft lullabyes. But to constantly have very low sounds in his room at night. Now this was a LONG time ago (he is 20 now) so I am not sure if there is anything different now, but it worked for us. Hope she is ok, that is one of those scary things you don't want to have to see I know! Give her pediatrician a call, or if you have insurance, most plans have a 24 hr nurse hotline for questions just like that. They may be able to help. Good Luck.

Thank you. Yes it's very scary. I hate to see her cry so hard like that. Well her pediatrician said it was normal as long as she wasn't shaking or breathing different. But I do have a bear that plays the womb sound. Thanks again!

it's very very normal...my four year had them for a while...she woke up, crying so hard she literally puked all over the place it was that bad..............you just need to sit and comfort her, and tell her that you are there for her, and that it's going to be okay.
