If your 4 and 5 year old children call there Grammie who lives next door at 7:00am in the morning and tells her that they want her to pick them up because mom and dad are sleeping and she does without letting mommy and daddy know. So that when said mommy and daddy get out of bed and the children are missing and our hearts are completly out of our chest and we finally find out that they are at said Grammie's...how would you react?

Grammie would be going a VERY long time without seeing the kids and they would be in so much trouble. Actually Grammie would be lucky she wasn't arrested for kidnapping since my 1st move upon learning kids are missing would be calling the police

Thank-you, my husband thinks I am crazy for getting all hysterical and mad at his mom....he won't even let me say anything to her.....and all he did when he found the kids over at his moms house was scream at the kids and told the KIDS to never leave the house without telling mommy or daddy.  Didn't say a thing to his mom!!! UGH!!!!!!!  This is the usual though he is such a mama's boy....

I am sure that Grammie meant no harm. She probably was letting dil sleep in?  She also probably figured that her house would be the first place you would look.  If there is no mil history then maybe...Idk, have a nice day.  If no drama is necessary then enjoy your Mommy day.  With active 4 and 5 year olds you definitely deserve it!

Grammie always tells us she likes to sleep in on the weekends...she only lives two houses away so we thought the kids might have walked over....but my 4 year olds shoes were still in the house both boots and sneakers.  I should have known that she picked them up but it was so early on a weekend I wouldn't have even thought she was up....which I guess she wasn't the kids had woken her up and told her that mom and dad were sleeping and asked if she would come and get them.  This is the second time this happened last year i was out and my husband took a nap and when she woke up the kids were gone.  But at least that time she left a message on the phone.
When my husband brought the kids back my son had bare feet.........
