He is very fussy, has a fever on and off, and I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how to make this not so bad for him... I am in Nicaragua, so no humphrys.

Can you get a teething ring? My son chewed on those like crazy.

If he's old enough, try freezing a carrot and letting him gnaw on it. We did that with my niece; just keep an eye on him to make sure he doesnt get any big chunks off when it starts to thaw.

 Frozen washcloth and tylenol

Teethers will help a lot. If you can find those mesh feeders you can put ice in it and let him suck on it. Even a chilled washcloth would work. Anything cold seems to help.
