My sister just turned 18 on the 8th and had a baby on may 17th. My father is trying to stop child support, can he? She's doing high school online (Penn foster).

Usually they have to pay until the child graduates. But depends on the judge.

Why would he stop child support? I have no idea if that's legal or not.

Short story is het bf thinks he's got a ton of money (really he has only $2000 in the bank) and my father thinks if they wanna live together and have a child he shouldn't have to support her, she should either work.or let her bf support her.

Is she still living with her mom? CS is supposed to go to the other parent to help with financial aspects the child needs. So if she isn't living with mom then he shouldn't have to pay.

Usually they have to pay until the child has completed school or the age of 21. I have no clue if it makes a difference that they have a child themselves. Here's a bump though!

Even if she has a child now? His lawyer is trying to say since her schooling is online anyone could be doing it for her.
