i had my son 3 weeks ago and since then have still been dealing with a bit of constipation. well since then i have now developed  hemorrhoids and am very very uncomfortable. i havent been able to get out and get that peperation h because ive been using money on the kids medicine since they all been sick. so i decided to google ways to help get rid of or relieve the discomfort and i ran across use garlic cloves and then naturally sits bath or ice pack. the garlic clove lookd promising but at the same time how it tells you to do it im not so sure im up for that so really i was wondering if anyone else has any ideas or maybe have tried using a garlic clove to help.

please and thank you mamas

Use wipes instea of toilet paper to clean up. You could also use some Vaseline or A&D; it'll help with any rubbing as you move. Kegels help, and try not to push when you poop. Also try not to spend a whole lot of time sitting.

Treat the constipation. Dulcolax or colace will help, and so will extra fiber, either from what you eat or in a supplement. Make sure you are hydrated and try some apple juice.

Are you talking a stool softener every night?  You should be for sure.  Should have been all along probably.  They never go away.  They may get less but they are here to stay.

My mom told me that bag palm helped A LOT and told me once I have him to use it. I don't know from experience just yet, but I hope it helps if you have some around the house!

I agree with the ladies above stool softener and  A&D to relieve some of the discomfort. Also instead of pushing when you poop, try putting your feet on top of a step and rubbing your knees, it helps a great deal.

preperation h did nothing for me. If you can soak a cotton ball in witch hazel and keep up there where it needs to be and stay off feet for 24 hours. Good luck.

I've used garlic cloves for yeast infections and that works. Not sure about hemmroids, though.
