i left my daughter,3 as of june 2nd, in the room for 10 minutes and when i came back it was a mess!
she must've pooped and took her diper off, there was poop everywhere, the furniture, herself, the walls, everything!!
it was a mess,
i don't know what to do, shouldn't she be old enough to know not to do that?
advice?!?!
help?!
I would sit her down and explain to her that what she did was gross and next time to please use the restroom. I don't know much about age development and if that is normal, but I have heard stories of kids doing that. Also, if she isn't maybe now is the time to potty train her.
It's fairly normal, I think many kids (2 of my 3 did) make a poo mess at some point.
At 3 though she can understand that it's gross and start working on potty training.
She is definitely old enough to understand that it is gross and to start potty training. I wonder if she was curious about it and once is was on her hand, she wanted to get it off and tried to by wiping it everywhere?
LOL, no, she's 3, so she's still learning and exploring the world. She probably started out just taking off the diaper, either because she was already poopy or because she needed to, and then curiosity took her from there to painting everything with it. Just tell yourself that if she's ever quiet and she's not in bed sleeping soundly, you should definitely check on her. ;)
Shouldn't she be potty trained? My daughter did this for about a month after she was potty trained and she no longer does it. We explain to her that pooping in the floor or anywhere other than a toilet is not acceptable. The only time my DD wears a diaper is when she is in bed at night.
I would have a talk with her and then have her help you clean it up (I wouldn't have her use any harsh cleaners though or in there when you spray them if that's what you use)
