if its causing severe stress for you and others to where it affects your quality of life, then its time to get a grip on it and get some help for yourself. For instance, if you can't get the laundry started or the dishes finished, do you stress out and snap and lash out at everyone? or do you withdraw and refuse to speak to anyone? What happens when your kids don't do as say immediately? Does that stress you out right away or does it take time to build? Only you can do something about how you handle the situation at hand. It's not up to others to 'perform' to your expectations, just because you can't handle your stress.
OMG yes!!!! I am sooooo totally the same way! I dont like to wait. I want it now. But not in all things. Like, i dont have a problem waiting for stuff when I am out, but at home, I want my house clean NOW, my laundry done NOW, the table cleared NOW!!! LOL
I wasnt always this way, but I seem to be getting worse as I get older.
Yes. It is call impatience. I have been TTC for almost 2 years. Impatience is one of those annoying words that keeps popping up. I want a baby NOW. But I am married to a procrastinator....which makes everything else worse.
It is the American way. I lived in Italy for 2 1/2 years and they always say, "Domani" or "Dopo Domani!" That means "tomorrow" or "day after tomorrow."
Yes, it's the American way. However, that is quickly changing I see. When government is in everything, everything takes months.
