Soo I have never had them before but sil step-kids came over to her house this past weekend and then Monday I went shopping with my sil and nephew. My nephew is only 10 Mos old and he didn't seem to be messing with his head at all.. But.. Lice just give me the heebie jeebies!
My 16 mo dd was with us and they were playing & stuff..
Sil called today n said she thinks she has them! ((barf)) & we were together yesterday too!!
So how do I know if my baby or myself had them besides the itchy head (she hasn't been itching, I'm more worried about myself.)

Please help! I'm freaking out over here!!

Ya I know.. But my besties son got it and she had thee worst time getting all of them out out of his curly hair.

Quoting Mommy2justone:

It is rare for black people to get lice. My sister's best friend had it and she didn't get it, but all her friends did. My little sister is black, so I am pretty sure that is why.

Quoting MamaNeeNee:

Thanks! My kids are black so I keep their hair oily neither one of them are scratching or anything. I'm just worried about picking up eggs.. Did all the laundry yesterday and slathered my hair too (it's long an thick so it would be a pain to take care of.)

As far as I know we are good.. But

Just creeps me out.

I'm mobile that's why I was asking the q here :)

Appreciate all of your comments!
