Spray milk of magnesia on it and let it air dry. Took my kids from bleeding sores to just red diaper rash over night.

I always used Boudreaux's Butt Paste with mine.  It works great and wipes off clean.

Bourdreaux's Butt Paste is the best from my experience.  It has more active ingredients than cheaper brands, but It is more expensive.

I hated butt paste.  It just made my kids bottoms stick to the diaper.  I used A&D mixed with desitan.  Get the kind with zinc oxcide.  Mix the 2 in a container then sprinkle the bottom with corn starch.  Works every time.

Coconut oil is great for diaper rashes and any skin iteration. I use california baby on my son as soon as I see a rash appear and it's gone in a few hrs.
