OT, but is it possible? (Cafemom doctors?)

So, I broke my wrist in early June. I get the cast off tomorrow. The break is below my thumb. The doctor also said there's a possible fracture on the other side. I had no pain whatsoever on the other side. Within the last 2-3 weeks, I've developed pain on that side. Is it possible that I fractured the other side too? I just find it strange that it didn't cause any symptoms until a week after the accident.

It's probably possible, especially you may have twisted it again at all

Now that I think about it, I did. I carried in groceries with that hand (I know I shouldnt have :/). It did hurt, and my joints dislocate very easily. My wrist dislocated, and quickly went back into place. He said he'll do an MRI if I'm still in pain after a month in a cast. I think I'll have it done.

Yes, its very possible. They should xray you before they take it off. And stop doing stuff with that hand.
