Hi Ladies, I went to Trader Joes and Walmart  this week looking for Salad fixings.  I bought Romainne hearts at TJ.  All other produce I bought at Winco.  Walmart had an anemic bunch of cilantro for $.50,.  Winco had a substantial bunch for $.48.  The pepppers were half of the price.  So was the english cucumber.  Winco has superior quality and the best prices on produce around.

Winco recently opened here and I've been really pleased with it. I wish they had organic produce, but the produce they do have is consistently cheaper than the other places in town and of comparable quality.

The one by us has a teeny tiny selection of random things, not fruit or veggies though. I bought organic basil there though. That is their big downfall, IMO. I would love to buy organic produce, but it is too expensive (here at least). I was hoping since Winco has such great prices for other things that they would have decent prices on organic stuff too, but they don't even really carry it.

I am seriously angry at my local grocery store (Jewel). The organic strawberries and blueberries are always either moldy or smashed up. The other grocery store nearby (Meijer) has a larger organic selection but it's priced so high! I'm getting super frustrated with grocery shopping!!

We don't have a tj or I'd prolly be there.

Winco is my weekly shopping, though the produce leaves something to be desired. Loooove the bulk section.
