I went camping the other day with my friend and we both got chiggers since we decided to go for a hike....all I could think was...are you kidding me?? I hate chiggers and do everything I can to avoid them....but it's been so hot lately I didn't think they would be an issue....boy was I wrong...I even have a chigger bite on my ear....MY EAR!!!! Anyway, I looked up remedy after remedy and I found one that works.....Cool Mint Listerine.......Oh Sweet Jesus!!!!!! I will always have some in my house from now on.....the itching stops immediatly....

I am not even sure i know what that bug looks like.  I was always paranoid about ticks getting in my hair.  It never happened thankfully.

Ew, I hate hate hate chiggers!!!

I have never seen them here. But when I was a kid I remember going to my aunt's house in a wooded area in southern Illinois. I was playing outside with my cousins and my foot started itching a lot. I pulled my sock down and my foot was COVERED in chiggers. I freaked out! They wouldn't come off so I sprayed them with the hose and blasted them off. Then I went inside and stayed there, lol.

Noxzema! I just slather it on in a cool shower.... Really helps with inflammation and burning! It is one of the only things I buy name brand! Off brands just don't have the same "oomph"!
I am.allergic to chigger bites and antihistamines!

YUCK, I hate them!  I remember them as a kid--my grandmother lived in rural Virginia and I would just be loaded with them when I visited.  She always put a dot of clear nail polish on them.  Now to be honest, I have no idea if it worked or not because it was like 100 years ago, but was wondering if you have ever heard of doing that?

Swimming in a chlorine pool helps also.

Great to know! My dh gets them from working out in the woods and I'm always looking for new things to try for him :)
