I have a one year old and she has a very bad eating habbit. My grandma gives her cookies, kool aid, pop. Anything and when I try to give her food that is good for her she won't eat it she rather have sugary foods. My daughter had a dr. Appointment yesterday and they told me to get her completely off the sugary food that it was not good for her and can cause bad health problems. My grandma on the other hand when I tell her not to give her cookies or anything she gives them to her anyway she gives her tons of junk food everyday that's all she ever eats. How can I stop her from giving her so much junk food and make her listen to me when I say no junk food?

Do you live with them?

Otherwise I'd say that's what grandmas are for.

If Grandma cannot adhere to a drs orders to cut out  the sugary items, then limit time spent with grandma...grandma may NOT listen to you at this point, and if that's the case, weigh your options of letting your dd see her whenever and eat junk nonstop, or limit the time she  spends with grandma....

Sounds like less time with g Maw. She's going to make her obese and is creating bad eating habits. Diabetes and add adhd kids don't need sugar she's got to listen or not be alone with her.

if her grandma can't even listen to dr's orders (since its no longer about just your preference that she not have sugary foods, although as her mom that is your right) then you might need to limit the time they spend together. if she doesn't care about your dd's health then she doesn't need to be in her life.

Put your foot down. Your gonna have to be the bad guy in this. If you see gma give your dd something sugary take it away immediately, throw it in the trash or put it up out of reach. Your dd and gma might be upset and complain but you cannot give in to either of them. Your dd health is more important than their feelings
