Ok about a year ago I was pregnant and I needed a car. Every place I went needed a co-signer ( had no to co-sign) so anyways I ended up getting an '04 Pontiac..... Problems from the beginning!!! Every time I had an issue I've taken it to their mechanic, each time they said they fixed it......there was this one time I took it for the engine jumping they said it was a feature of the car ( -_-). Anyway a yr later my whole transmission is f**ked up....... $3000 to fix it!!!! Idk wat to do, come time to find out the reason is messed up because of the engine jumping ( the mounts r destroyed) now I'm left with out a car n still owe a lot of money n I can't afford to fix it and to pay the payment....I feel stupid for buying a lemon.....

No that was my biggest mistake, I shouldn't have trusted their mechanics

Do you have anything in writing from them from the other times you went and they said it was nothing? Id take it to court. Also not sure if it's just around here but they have lawyers for this kind of shit. Ours is 1800 lemon-law. I'm in pa. I'd fight it!!

Yes I have all the paper work each time I took it, they said the replaced the brakes ( I replaced them) took it twice for over heating n once about the engine bouncing, they said it was nothing wrong but they would replace the mounts.....I took it to two different mechanics.....both said no way could they have placed the mounts one was so bad it was hanging on by half a bolt n the other one broken in half

See if you can talk to someone from legal aid. That a bunch of baloney. I had a car that was a lemon. No used car lemon law in Cali. at least back then. I threatened the dealer with a suit and low and behold they found another car on the lot that would "replace" the old one on the loan.

How can I go about that?
I spoke to the dealership and they said I've had it for a year so it's not their fault, also said if the car needed motor mounts he wouldn't have sold it without them, but I have a paper they gave me when I got the car stating I needed to bring it back to get them replaced, I brought it back on three different occasions and it never happened. One of the times they told me they replaced them.
I'm worried that they will argue that I caused the damage within the year that I've been driving.
Two different mechanics and they said I didn't drive it enough to cause this kind of damage, nor did the car have enough miles on it to even need a transmission rebuild, they can't find any other reason other than the mounts as to what caused this damage( my tranny and engine was barely attached to the car)
It had 55,000 miles on it when I bought it and it only has 64,000 now
