Do you know if there are specific breeds of rabbits or they can take any breed?
My son is doing rabbits and a friend offered him one they found in their yard a year ago. It is small and tame but idk if he has to have something specific.

We went to a county fair and it seemed like they had every breed imaginable there from the giants to the dwarfs.  I am not sure what the regulations are if the child needs to raise them from babyhood or if it can be any rabbit.

Is he in 4H already?

Kind of. We went to the first club meeting and signed him up for groups. We haven't had any group meetings or paid for his enrollment yet.

I tried to look it up and it says it varies from area to area as to what breeds are accepted.  We saw one though that was larger than our cat at the fair. It was huge.

Also saw a horse that was 16 hands tall (their measurement for height).  Apparently alot of the animals were fed miracle gro  HA HA.

Lol yeah I saw some of those at our fair before. My parents have a big horse but not that big! I used to take pigs to fair but I never tried rabbits.
